Covid-19 : Statement #2

The Union Nationale Sportive Léo Lagrange, which is responsible for organising Unicon 20, has set up a Covid 19 crisis unit, whose responsibility is to monitor the situation and its evolution as closely as possible, in constant communication with our partners (IUF, City of Grenoble).

We undertake to communicate to you a decision on the future of the event by April 2nd at the latest.We are working on all scenarios, maintaning the original dates of UNICON20, its postponement or cancellation.

The objectives of this unit are the following:
– to gather information on the evolution of the epidemic and the situation in the different countries, with the support of the federal doctor and the Ministry of Sport
– estimate the organisation’s capacity to deliver the expected event under these difficult conditions
– measure the ability of competitors to prepare for and fully participate in this World Championship
– estimate the ability of unicyclists to benefit from this world meetingPlease be patient and take care of yourselves.
